About the Role
This is a remote role for a Marketing Intern - Affiliate. The Marketing Intern will assist in conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, enhancing communication efforts, and supporting affiliate marketing initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in affiliate campaigns, content optimization, paid marketing and partner coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in product sourcing for affiliate campaigns.
- Support blog optimization, SEO improvements, and affiliate link placement.
- Help manage social media promotions for affiliate content.
- Assist with PPC activities, including keyword research and performance tracking.
- Support relationship management with partners.
- Tracker campaign performance and assist with basic reports.
- Work closely with the marketing team and gain practical exposure to real campaigns and ongoing partner collaborations.
- Research the latest trends in mental health to ensure our partners are promoting the most relevant care options.
- Assist in creating empathetic, educational content that partners can share to drive sign-ups.
- Analyze the quality of traffic from different partners and help calculate the ROI based on patient retention and long-term care engagement.
- Identify and reach out to wellness influencers, HR bloggers, universities, and medical clinics to join our referral network.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our partners, ensuring they are trained on our platform and have the up-to-date resources needed to represent our brand ethically.
Qualifications
- A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Journalism, Psychology, Business or a related field.
- You understand the sensitivity of the mental health space.
- Data-literate and comfortable with spreadsheets and basic ad metrics.
- Excellent written communication—the ability to write with both "marketing spark" and "clinical empathy."
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with team members, affiliates, and clients.
- Ability to conduct Market Research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Sales acumen to support business growth and affiliate engagement.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- The candidate must be willing to work between 5 AM to 2 PM ET. (Eastern Time)
